You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeJoin the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) finance team supporting the Technology Development Center (TDC)/Research & Development (R&D) organization.The Principal Financial Analyst will report to the CRM TDC Sr. Finance Manager and support a subset of the CRM TDC organization by collaborating closely with Advanced Development, Product Security and Privacy, and Finance function leadership. In this role you will get hands on experience with financial analyses, support project planning/reporting, gain insight into the future technology pipeline and priorities, and serve as the primary Finance partner. The primary responsibilities of the position include completion of month-end financial activities (processing, understanding and investigation of results and variance drivers), creation of financial forecasts/plans, ownership of TDC capital process, and collaboration with business partners to drive financial execution and support foundational financial acumen.TDC Finance support: Serve as functional partner to the Advanced Development and Product Security & Privacy leadership teams and provide financial analysis and support/creation of financial plans/actions that drive business decisions and results. Provide support to the TDC Sr Finance Manager and TDC Finance Director in financial planning and administration, forecasting, and measurement/understanding of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and Strategic Plan. Execute standard period and quarter end financial close activities and support business reviews through standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses. Provide financial expense reporting and analysis, ensuring spending is within budget and company policies. Drive the TDC Capital process, including driving the AOP and quarter-end reporting processes. Assist in the education and development of business partner financial acumen and reporting tools.
