Description We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in Oakdale, Minnesota. This role involves high-volume bank transactions, account reconciliations, and booking payroll entries. You will also be responsible for creating and approving journal entries. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct month-end closing activities. Handle account reconciliation effectively. Carry out reporting duties regularly. Cooperate with vendors to update 401 term dates. Manage high-volume bank transactions. Perform booking of payroll entries. Generate a significant number of journal entries. Approve batches as required. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank reconciliation, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP. Assist in financial analytics tasksRequirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Experience in managing General Ledger and Journal Entries. Expertise in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in Month End Close procedures. Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. CPA certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Experience in a senior accounting or financial management role would be advantageous. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage financial projects.
