Job Summary: The Technology Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and supporting the effective integration of instructional technology into the curriculum through training teachers and staff. Examples of instructional technology include, but are not limited to; Schoology, Seesaw, Google Workspace, Clever, and Synergy. Duties include implementation of a staff development program to support teachers in integrating technology and supporting the school district’s technology goals.    Osseo Area Schools is a Qcomp school district: Teacher Development & Evaluation Overview   Please review the full job description at the link below for a detailed description of the essential functions and requirements of the position.   Technology Integration Specialist  Plan, organize, and implement staff development for teachers, administrators, and other staff members. Determine technology education needs based on state and national standards, and district and site technology initiatives. Create and publish multimedia training materials for teachers, staff, students, and families. Train teachers to use a variety of technology applications integrated into their curriculum. Develop and deliver blended and other online training for staff. Collaborate with site leaders, curriculum staff, instructional coaches, program supervisors, library media specialists, and site technology teams to integrate instructional technology into the curriculum. Assist classroom teachers in planning, implementing, and assessing technology integration. Set up and maintain a variety of technology tools. Test and troubleshoot hardware and software. Respond to staff support requests via phone and email and provide on-site instructional support, including co-teaching with teachers as needed. Conduct needs assessment to identify gaps in staff knowledge about instructional technology and develop plans to close those gaps. Conduct post-training assessments to evaluate training quality and plan for improvement. Expand knowledge of innovative technology applications, their effective use, integration, and potential to improve student learning. Participate in local and global communities to explore creative applications of technology to improve student learning. Model and promote the legal and ethical use of educational technology. Participate in shared decision-making and community building within the school district and other organizations. Identify trends in software, curriculum, research, teaching strategies, and other educational areas of technology. Be aware of adaptive technology and its use to meet the differentiated needs of diverse learners. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include:  Bachelor’s Degree required. MN teaching license If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.
