Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Effectively lead the manufacturing engineering and CNC programming team with a total of 7 associatesEstablish and maintain effective production support of a 7 day/week operationImprove all relevant metrics year-on-yearAssure structured and consequent project execution (process development, new equipment, cost savings)Plan new and used capital equipment acquisition including process developmentWilling and able to ‘do’ not only ‘delegate’Create and/or maintain all relevant process documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Routing, etc.)Act as a proxy for the Machining Operations Manager as neededLead continuous improvement activities using the Bosch Production SystemParticipate in internal and external auditsCollaborate with other functions and/or customers to problem-solve and improveProvide problem solving leadership (both action as well as a development approach)
