This includes monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure efficient inbound and outbound deliveries, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet customer demands and drive operational excellence.What you will be doing:
Quote freight, schedule shipments, research and resolve shipment delays, provide PODs and other logistics-related needs
Provide insights and tracking for inventory inquiries of shortages
Reverse Logistics backup for return items, recycling, trade-ins, CPO program, etc.
Working closely with Sales and Order Management departments to provide timely feedback on shipment questions
Partner with Global and Americas Demand Planners on inventory topics
Hands-on interaction and problem-solving activities with Carriers, 3rd Party Logistics Providers, Billing Service Providers
Assist in documentation of processes and best practice
Contribute and suggest improvements and efficiencies
Establish development goal(s) to improve upon self-growth
Must have for this role:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in inventory control in a manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, environment
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with Logistics concepts and meanings such as Parcel, LTL, TL, Class, Zone, Tariff, etc.
Knowledge and expertise in domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and reverse logistics
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle
Proficient PC skills; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to manage through change and to lead change when appropriate
Ability to work well with others
Nice to have:
1 – 2 years in a logistics role or coordination position
