This job consists of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a permanent employment opportunity, is located in the Plymouth, Minnesota. A dynamic team has an opening for a business partner skilled in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management to join their ranks.Your responsibilities

Produce and monitor forecasting reports

Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Survey performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting

Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support

Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r

Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information Requirements - 5+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Solid understanding of ERP Solutions

Command of financial analysis

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience considered)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
