GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:This role is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the overall retail operations including recruitment, team performance, profitably, expenses, store inventory and merchandising of our flagship store’s outlet. This role will promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the Store Manager in daily retail operations as applicableWork with the Store Manager to analyze monthly financial statements (P&L) to ensure store profitabilityUphold Red Wings merchandising and brand standards to ensure store presentation requirements are metSupport the management of inventory levels and accuracyLead by example, by guiding each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit ExperienceProvide appropriate accessory recommendation, educate customers on the benefits of eachAchieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goalsMaintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standardsMaintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learningMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulationsWork with Store Manager to guide store staff through consistent implementation of retail initiatives, policies/procedures, and goal settingAssist in development of store associates to achieve operational and sales objectivesProvide store coverage in local market as determined by ManagementWork with Store Manager to assess outlet curation and purchase outlet product accordingly.Work with Store Manager to facilitate the movement of outlet product between warehouses and store.Create merchandising flow for outlet area and ensure maintenance of visual standards.Work with Store Manager to schedule outlet staffing and ensure service standards are aligned with main floor.Assist Store Manager with preparation and execution of annual warehouse sale.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (following duties are required on all positions):Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication softwareMaintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standardsMaintain industrial/RWfB account operational requirementsUphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core valuesWillingness to perform additional duties as requiredConduct self-accordance to RWSC policies
