Tutor Doctor specializes in changing the trajectory of students lives by providing customized one to one tutoring to students in the convenience of their home. We provide free consultations to families and take the time to get to know the student in order to match them with the best possible tutor for their learning style and schedule.
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
We are seeking warm & caring individuals to tutor mainly middle school and high school students in a 1-on-1 setting. This is a part-time contract position. We match students based on tutor qualifications, subject/ grade expertise, availability, location, and teaching style. Our tutors choose which students to accept and determine their own weekly schedule.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles
Expertise in the subjects you tutor
Tutoring/Teaching experience (Formal or Informal)
Excellent communication skills; empathy for student learners
Dependability and professionalism
Ability to travel to student's homes for in-home tutoring (must have reliable transportation)
Position is part-time/contract. Hours are flexible and tutoring is local.
