I need independent RNs that are currently enrolled with Minnesota Health Care Programs. For RNs that are not enrolled, I will assist you. Enrolling with MHCP allows nurses to accept MA (Medicaid) payments for providing complex care to clients in their homes.
You are paid the full amount that the state of Minnesota allows for complex care. There are no benefits provided.
Ventilator experience is preferred. However, we will train motivated candidates.
Applicants must have a valid Minnesota nursing license. Candidates must possess reliability, honesty, good health assessment and communication skills, and compassion.
This job is to provide care for me. My name Is Tommy and I am a man in my early 50s. I have Muscular Dystrophy and I'm ventilator-dependent, but my condition is very stable. I need maximum assistance with all ADLs, positioning, and transfers. I direct my own care routines.
Duties include trach suctioning, trach and g-tube care, g-tube feedings/water flushes, dressing me, patient lift assisted transfers, and to accompany me on outings like walks and other activities. I have my own transport van. My mother lives with me and has been providing care.
I'm looking primarily for overnight coverage at this time. Shifts are 9pm - 9am.
Expect to work four or more shifts every month. This will include at least one or more weekend shift(s), but not necessarily on the same weekend. I also need care on holidays.
