Altra Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Teller / Member Relations Specialist for our Rochester 2nd Street office! Persons excelling in this position provide professional, friendly service, information, assistance to others, and set the standard of service our members have come to expect in visiting any office location. Member Relations Specialists are friendly and outgoing, engaging, trustworthy, non-judgmental, focused, and confident.
Member Relations Specialists welcome the members into our offices, asking questions to determine the nature of the member's visit to the office, assisting with all types of member service transactions, and more! The Member Relations Specialists are the "faces" of Altra and fully represent Altra’s brand to help our members live their best lives!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Member service/teller transactions
Enter members into better lobby for service in other areas
Load and unload debit cards daily
Trouble shoot debit card machine issues
Change debit card machine film
Assist members in how to use kiosks and lobby computers
Sort office mail
Print debit cards
Research and assist with any concerns members may have
Qualified candidates are required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED. Previous experience in a customer service or financial services role is preferred. Cash handling experience would be helpful. Spanish and Somali speaking language skills would be encouraged, but not required.
This position is full time, 40-hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the operating hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and will require some flexibility within these hours, as needed.
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive starting rate of $18.08+ per hour, depending on experience.
