Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves managing all aspects of accounting, including but not limited to month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, and journal entries. Additionally, you will be tasked with handling donations and grant accounting, providing assistance with audits and financial statements, and offering support for escalated issues within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for accurate financial reporting. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and prepare corresponding journal entries. Manage accounting for donations and grants, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Assist with audit preparations and financial statement creation when necessary. Offer hands-on support for escalated issues within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Prepare schedules for audits to ensure all financial records are in order. Take on special projects as assigned, demonstrating a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving. Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in line with established policies and regulations. Utilize accounting software systems to streamline accounting functions. Oversee the billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
