Description We are offering an opportunity in the bustling city of Saint Paul, Minnesota, for those skilled in the field of Accounting. The role is an Accounts Payable Specialist in the legal industry. This role will be based within an office setting two days a week, with the potential for remote work.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Reconcile expense reports to maintain an accurate record of company expenses Process checks, managing the company's outflow of cash Utilize accounting software systems, specifically NetSuite, to manage financial transactions Employ Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks Resolve discrepancies in financial reports and statements Work closely with senior accountants for complex accounting functions Assist in other accounting functions as necessary Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive financial information.Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.Please submit your resume and call Jordan Lynch at 651-293-3973 for review and consideration.Requirements Minimum of one year experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar position. Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel. Ability to perform various accounting functions efficiently. Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Familiarity with Check Processing procedures. Proficiency in Data Entry tasks. Ability to resolve Discrepancy issues effectively.
