Job Title: Machine Operator in St. Paul, MNPay - $18/hr., to $20/hr.,+Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to work in our Foam Converting Area and Emitter Room.
The candidate will need to be flexible and open to working between both areas, operating various machines, including one that packages our final product.
The role involves converting foam products to specific sizes, performing basic machine operations, packaging, labeling, and ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities
Operate different machines for foam converting and packaging final products.
Convert foam products into specific sizes according to work instructions, including loading material, catching foam products from machines, performing adjustments, measuring, and cutting to size.
Perform basic machine operations, packaging, and labeling in the emitter room with about 4-5 other employees.
Ensure products meet quality specifications by handling and testing products and packaging finished products.
Document much of the work performed.
Operate a sitdown forklift and pallet jack to pull and move materials/pallets.
Participate in safety programs and activities, maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Essential Skills
Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation.
Ability to perform basic measurements.
Ability to read and comprehend English documents and work orders.
Comfortable training and operating a sitdown forklift.
Troubleshooting or setup experience.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, twist, and lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day without restrictions.
