Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Supply Chain Assistant to be a part of a team in the manufacturing industry located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with managing the order fulfillment process, maintaining active communication with customers, and resolving any pricing, supply chain, and logistics issues that may arise. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Coordinate the order fulfillment process both internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain up-to-date communication with customers and deliver exceptional service for day-to-day order processing Act as the primary contact for customer replenishment teams and build long-lasting relationships with customers Work closely with Finance to close month-end sales as needed Promptly and accurately enter all external sales orders into the system, adhering to company document control procedures Post daily sales orders, investigate any discrepancies, document findings, and communicate as appropriate with all internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional work groups to resolve customer order related issues and meet customers’ expectations on order fulfillment Take responsibility for ensuring successful order entry and follow-up for customer orders in line with company document control procedures Oversee the internal communication process to ensure timely order fulfillment.Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.Please submit your resume and call Jordan Lynch at 651-293-3973 for review and consideration.Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of supply chain management or related area in the manufacturing industry Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests with keen attention to detail Demonstrated understanding and experience in Buying Processes, ideally within the manufacturing sector Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and formulas effectively and efficiently Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
