Ensure that all products, processes and procedures are in compliance with established company policies and specifications to consistently meet or exceed our customer expectations. This position provides effective leadership to impact process improvement and/or product quality, and to recommend necessary changes within the organization so that the plant achieves the highest possible finished product quality at the lowest possible cost.-Key Requirements:

Conduct process audits of key process variables to ensure they are within acceptable ranges.

Provide technical support to plant supervisory and hourly employees.

Work alongside production personnel to reduce or remove operational ambiguity by developing standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Seek out process improvement opportunities leading to advances in the areas of Safety, Quality and Efficiency. Continue to monitor the effectiveness of established improvements to ensure they are sustained.

Establish process and procedural standardization across all shifts and work toward ensuring training material effectively captures the standard work for the area.

Promotes effective teamwork and utilizes innovation to achieve process improvement goals.

Work alongside all departments (Production, Quality, Logistics and Leadership) to ensure proper methods are implemented to product final goods that meet or exceed customer expectations.- technical support and leadership to the plant supervisory and hourly employees.

Conduct focus projects based on long term losses.

Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/incidents, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental and Property/Equipment Damage.

Participate and lead in the plants World Class Manufacturing initiatives (WCM).

Participate in Incident & Near Miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.

May be required to perform other duties as requested or assigned.

-What do you bring?

Minimum of 4-year degree (Engineering Preferred) extensive equivalent experience may be considered.

Professional experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.

Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Flexible and open-minded with good written and oral communication.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

General Understanding of ISO methodology.

Familiarity with 5S, Lean Principles & Continuous Improvement Toolsets (WCM-World Class Manufacturing).
