Description Our client is seeking a Network Technician to join their growing team in the manufacturing industry. This role will require 80% travel while the other 40% will be remote. This role involves managing and supporting our network infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure connectivity for our operations. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency. Implement and manage Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to enable information sharing across routers. Utilize Cisco ASA for firewall configuration and management to ensure network security. Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches to support our network infrastructure. Apply knowledge of Cisco Technologies for network development and maintenance. Conduct AB Testing for network systems to optimize performance. Manage computer hardware, ensuring it is in good working order and compatible with network requirements. Oversee configuration management processes, ensuring network configurations are properly documented and updated. Oversee and manage our data center operations, ensuring efficient and smooth running of systems. Plan and execute deployments of network systems and software, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Manage LAN Vs. WAN, LAN Switching, and LAN Connectivity for optimal network performance. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of LAN - Local Area Network to manage and troubleshoot network issues. Implement and manage SD-WAN and WAN Technologies for efficient wide area network operations. Utilize knowledge of TCP/IP for network configuration and troubleshooting. Hold a Cisco Certified Network certification, utilizing the knowledge and skills gained to support our network infrastructure. Manage Meraki network equipment and software, ensuring efficient operations.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Technician in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, and Cisco ASA. Experience with Cisco Routers and other Cisco Technologies. Familiarity with AB Testing and Computer Hardware. Proven skills in Configuration Management. Knowledge of Datacenter and Deployment processes. Understanding of LAN Vs. WAN, LAN Switching, LAN Connectivity, and LAN - Local Area Network. Experience with SD-WAN and WAN Technologies. Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols. Cisco Certified Network certification is preferred. Experience with Meraki is a plus.
