Northstar Canoes builds high end Kevlar and carbon fiber canoes for the BWCA and beyond. We will train if you've never built a canoe. We're a manufacturer, but unlike the bulk of factories, we don't make boring widgets. You'll help us turn a roll of Kevlar into a finished canoe! Depending on your aptitude you might laminate canoes, working with cloth and resin, or trim canoes, installing gunwales, seats, and thwarts. We're a small company, you'll know everyone's name by the end of the first week.
