Carpenter helper: Duties include but not limited to
Cleaning work areas, machines, and equipment
Fastening timbers or lumber with glue, screws, pegs, or nails
Installing hardware
Measuring, marking, drilling, or cutting
Gathering materials for workers
Cutting and installing insulation
Building scaffolding, shoring, and braces
Unloading materials from trucks
Some preferred qualifications for carpenter helpers include:
A high school diploma
Some experience of construction and carpentry is a plus
The ability to follow directions
A basic understanding of framing, siding, and trim installation
Excellent communication
A positive attitude
The ability to collaborate with a team
A valid and clean driver's license
