We are a small grading and excavating business located in Princeton, MN. We typically limit our service area to a 30 mile radius of Princeton. While the services we offer are diverse, we serve a select group of clients to the highest degree possible.
On a daily basis, you will be conducting a number of tasks under the direction of a supervisor. However, our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, and have the natural ability to work and think independently. A typical day may include any or all of the following:
Loading and unloading supplies
Working safely with a variety of tools, small and large equipment, and vehicles
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Assisting, and working with, a team of laborers, drivers, and other operators
Assisting in the proper excavation, backfill and grading of residential and commercial job sites; installation of culverts, site utilities, and on site septic systems; and a variety of other tasks.
The ideal candidate will be able to meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of a high school diploma
At least 2 years of relevant work experience
The ability to take instruction, but also work independently
Be mild tempered, and a team player
Have a strong work ethic
Bend, squat, or stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift 75+ pounds with or without assistance
Possess the ability and willingness to work in all types of weather
Provide proper maintenance on the equipment
Excavate and grade to within 0.1 of a foot
Provide proper benching and sloping for trenches
Have the ability to perform excavation backfill services for utilities and foundations

We are looking to bring somebody on board for spring start-up (Approximately early April), but we will spend the time to find the best fit. One thing that will help move a candidate to the top of consideration is a clean driving record and a CDL license.
