Lawn and Irrigation Technician
Growing Environments is currently hiring Lawn and Irrigation Technicians for the upcoming summer season of 2024. The position will commence in late April or May, depending on the weather, and will run until early November. Additionally, there is a possibility of a winter salary, which includes snow removal work.
Duties include:
Mowing using a zero-turn mower, trimmers, and backpack blowers
Installing and maintaining lawn sprinkler systems
Driving with a trailer
Experience is helpful but not necessary; hours can vary from 25-40+ a week and are flexible. Retired individuals who want to mow part-time to experienced irrigation technicians are welcome to apply. The pay will be determined depending on the experience level, starting at $18 per hour. An applicant would need a driver’s license and the ability to acquire a health card. Every day is different, with no repetitive work. The work area is central Minnesota, but the day will start in Richmond, MN.
