DescriptionFinding the right fit: The Ayres MEP Division is seeking to hire a full-time electrical designer. You’ll be working with a great group of people on a diverse variety of projects. As a new employee, you won’t just work anonymously on a conveyor belt of projects. Instead, you’ll interact with project managers and other design staff that have forged long-term relationships with clients. Model buildings using Revit family of tools.
Perform power, lighting and systems design.
Run energy calculations using ComCheck and EnergyPro.
Run site lighting photometric calculations.
Run power distribution analysis using SKM PowerTools
May be called upon to complete 2D-drafting using AutoCAD tools.
Coordinate electrical design with mechanical and architectural team.
Required qualifications:
An associates degree in electrical design including engineering technology, bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology, or a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on electrical.
0-4 years of related engineering experience.
Desired skills and experiences:
Strong modeling skills.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with SKM PowerTools, Visual, ComCheck, EnergyPro
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
Experience with Microsoft Teams or similar online meeting applications
Willingness to work in a team environment with members throughout the United States
