The Zund Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Zund cutting machines to create precise cuts in a variety of materials, such as vinyl, foam, fabric, and more. This position requires an individual who can follow technical instructions, ensure product quality, and meet production goals. Shift: 1st shift 6 am-230pm and then transition to 2nd shift, 2:30 pm-11 pm. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate the Zund cutting machine, ensuring accurate and efficient cutting of materials based on job specifications. Load materials (e.g., vinyl rolls, foam sheets) onto the machine, positioning them correctly to ensure proper cuts. Use the computer to upload design files or cutter files into the Zund machine's system. Monitor the cutting process to ensure precision, inspect cut pieces for accuracy and defects, and make adjustments as necessary. Perform routine maintenance on the Zund machine, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Record production data, materials used, and job progress to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently. Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements: Previous experience operating Zund machines or similar cutting machines is highly preferred. Basic computer skills for uploading files and operating machine controls. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret design files or blueprints. Ability to lift materials up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.location: Saint Paul, MNsalary: $17/hrwork hours: 6:30AM to 2:30PMqualifications:
