We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in White Bear Lake, MN. Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.
Determine and use appropriate inspection tools and equipment to verify part dimensional and functional requirements per specifications.
Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems.
Perform inspection on the first piece, in-process parts, purchased parts, and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.
Perform tests, including durometer testing and dye-penetrant.
Route parts for rework.
Complete all required records and paperwork, including inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.
Communicate with manufacturing relative to deviations of tolerances and quality.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
