This position will be part of the Enterprise Services team, which delivers a full suite of services to state agencies, boards, councils, and commissions, and many central services to local government partners.As the Relationship Manager, Advanced you will build and maintain the relationship between MNIT Services’ Chief Business Technology Officers, their delegates, and MNIT Enterprise Services along with our non-executive branch IT partners. The Relationship Manager, Advanced works with CBTO’s and non-executive customers by identifying agency technical needs, and conducting research and analysis, to make recommendations and/or coordinate technical solutions that align with the strategic and tactical direction of MNIT Services with the goal of ensuring the IT business needs of agency business partners are met. This requires a thorough understanding of the business needs and availability of technical solutions within the MNIT Services Portfolio. The Relationship Manager, Advanced must ensure alignment with the strategic and tactical direction of MNIT Services, as well as provide information and guidance to customers with regard to service billing components, services portfolio, consulting and communication needs. The incumbent will be responsible to develop new processes and process improvements for the team.This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:

Minimum QualificationsCandidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of professional information technology experience that includes:
IT experience working in one or more of the following technical domains, along with general IT knowledge of all of these services: network services (voice, VoIP, data and video telecommunications), desktop and mobile device systems, hosting, cloud, data storage systems, O365, project management, business analysis, information security, etc.
Business Relationship Management experience establishing and nurturing relationships, facilitating, connecting, orchestrating, and navigating through IT services to serve stakeholder’s IT business needs.
A minimum of four (4) years working directly with high level management and organizational leaders.
Ability to deliver clear, concise and effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field may substitute for three years of experience, OR a related Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two years, OR a related Associate’s may substitute for one year.Preferred Qualifications
Foundation level knowledge and experience with ITIL frameworks of IT Service Management best practices.
Strong problem-solving, organizational and prioritization skills along with the ability to effectively manage multi-tasks.
Knowledge of customer service management best practices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to a wide variety of audiences.
Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills to develop consensus between a diverse workforce and clientele.
Knowledge of state government financial operations including rates, billing systems and crediting process.
