Job Description: Regions Hospital is looking for exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurses to join our team to make a difference for our patients and our community. C6 is a 35-bed med-surg/telemetry unit with double and single occupancy. We focus on inpatient medical-surgical patients, including general surgery, acute care surgery, neurosurgery, urology, cardiac telemetry and post procedural care. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Qualifications: Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master's degree program in Nursing. BSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 5 years of hire. Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family members and co-workers Additional Information: Our benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
