Job Description

We are searching for a candidate to take our social media to the highest level as our business continues to grow! This part-time position (with expectations to go full-time) will support our social media efforts in helping to highlight our brand and services. The hours for this position will be Monday-Thursday, 9-3pm, approximately 24 hours/week with flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organizations day-to-day social media activities: creating and posting content to our social networks, managing comments.
  • Grow our brand awareness, business and online community engagement by researching target audience and discovering trends.
  • Maintain a content calendar of organic posts, budget and targeting criteria.

    • Create/post news release templates for new client and/or new program launches.
    • Create/post images of successful custom orders or services we’ve provided to our clients.
    • Work with divisional sales leaders to develop new case studies.

  • Drive traffic and to our BIG Idea E-store to build sales.

    • Create fun teaser ads that will bring people back to our site.
    • Build our network of followers / customers
    • Work with CEO on seasonal Estore offerings/promotions.

  • Prepares and presents reports regarding site traffic and social media coverage.
  • Updates and improves BIG’s search engine optimization.
  • Identify trends in social media applications, tools and channels to expand the Organization’s online communities and outreach efforts.
  • Maintain internal (BIG Star) and external (BIG company site) content and news items/releases.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field

Skills/Competencies:

  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media Platforms.
  • Possess strong attention to detail with exceptional grammar, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication, multitasking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of social media marketing experience.
