WELDERS $25/HR TO $33/HR START ASAPJob DescriptionAs a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and assembling various types of process equipment for the food industry. This position involves a balance of Tig Welding and assembly work, primarily focused on stainless food-grade equipment.Responsibilities
Perform Tig Welding (50%) and assembly (50%) of different types of process equipment for the food industry.
Weld and assemble pipes and pipe parts in acid-resistant stainless steel.
Conduct TIG welding (pulsating), both manual and mechanized.
Crawl in and out of containers as needed.
Conduct process checks according to quality requirements.
Rework labor work sheets and submit them.
Participate in daily improvement activities.
Actively engage in multi-skill training.
Participate in the team’s WCM/5S activities and achieve the required level as per company standards.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Tig welding, especially with stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in welding in the 6g position on 2 1/2" sch 40 pipe with a 45-degree bevel, ensuring full penetration on the root pass, a flush fill pass, and a cover pass without undercut.
Ability to perform fillet welds on T-plates and weld very small diameter tubing (less than 3/8" but more than 1/4").
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Tig Welding Experience OR a degree in a related field.
Willingness to learn and a great attitude.
Ability to pass the welding test as described.
