1ST SHIFT-PRODUCTION TRAINER/KILL FLOORHOURS:
1st Shift – flexible as needed or required
DUTIES
Training and motivation of all new employees
Conducting of Work Hardening programs
Conducting “off-line” knife sharpening classes on both straight and wizard knives
Completing various reports in a timely manner
May assists Occupational Health and the hospital for translation
Teach annual retraining classes
Other duties as assigned
Hours worked as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of KILL FLOOR jobs highly preferred
Good Safety record required
Good attendance record required
Superior knife sharpening skills (all types)-must achieve/maintain knives at or above 8.1 on the Anago knife sharpness tester
Great communication skills – written and oral
Valid driver license needed
Patient attitude with inexperienced employees
Excellent people skills
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to plan time efficiently
Ability to conduct training classes as assigned
Bilingual preferred but not required
