This Position is for an Associate Professor in Public Health with a public university work location in University, MS.Position DescriptionThe Department of Public Health at the University of Mississippi is seeking applications for an Associate Professor in Public Health. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor to begin as early as January 2025. Applicants should have expertise in epidemiology as the responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate public health courses in epidemiology or biostatistics. Applicants should demonstrate an engaged/ongoing research agenda with a strong record of and potential for additional extramurally funded research and/or community engagement grants, a record of peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals, research/scholarly achievement, and a record of excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students consistent with the rank of an Associate Professor. The public health programs are housed in the new Department of Public Health (est. 2024).
