As aSystems Administrator (Senior-Level) you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and security of Government IT systems. Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.
Maintain server environment stability through review of monitoring tools and application of patches after testing.
Create, update, and maintain SOPs and knowledge management solutions for continuity and training.
Ensure proper configuration of servers, virtual servers, storage solutions, computers, and software necessary for the successful operation in baseline compliance requirements.
Support Active Directory Management; Systems Center Management; Messaging Management; Clustering Services; Backup and Restoration.
Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
Manage data backups of servers and equipment configurations per recovery guidelines.
Implement patch remediation on systems to ensure network security and compliance with Cybersecurity guidelines and regulations.
Create, update, and maintain databases required for mission-related functions.
Support migration efforts to cloud-based environments including integration of new technologies, decommissioning of existing hardware, and documentation.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (will sponsor the right candidate).
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security,GICSP,GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
Eight (8+) years of relevant experience with a comprehensive understanding of IT Infrastructure and Business Analysis.
Knowledge of Windows servers, including Windows PowerShell, Active Directory, and GPO.
Migration of systems and services to a cloud environment.
Cloud administrator support experience.
Application support experience.
Familiar with network vulnerability scanners (e.g. Retina, ACAS, Nessus).
Preferred:
Active secret clearance.
BA/BS degree in IT Service Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
Working knowledge of virtualized environments (VMWare, Linux, etc.) Windows Server 2012 (or higher) Operating System Certification.
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations.
