Link Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join our team in support of the US Army's Network Enterprise Center at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.  Must be a US CitizenSecret Clearance requiredNon-remote (relocation incentive available)The Telecommunications Specialist will oversee and optimize the performance and functionality of the telecommunications systems in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This is a great opportunity that will allow you to work on innovative projects that offer advancement and growth while helping protect our national security.Job Responsibilities:  Perform administrative, O&M functions, and routines required for the telephone switching equipment, voice mail system, and firewall. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform customer features and activate and de-activate voice mail accounts. Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement. Ensure assigned tickets are addressed with government clients. Update/maintain all ISP and remote communications facilities' final drawings. Validate installation communications and cable drawings and submit red-line changes.  Maintenance of telephone poles, manholes, handholds, and outside terminals. Install, de-install, maintain, repair, and test multiple-conductor aerial, underground, and buried communications cable to include coaxial, fiber optics, and copper/conventional cable. Provide cable audits of manholes, hand-holes, pedestals, communications closets, MDF, and IDF. Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

Responsibilities Develop training curriculum and materials for behavioral sciences education course. Resolve controversial, unconventional, or novel problems related to special victims training, education, and investigation. Serve as a subject matter expert writer developing training materials through the analysis of educational or instructional problems or questions. Serve as the course manager for the DOD Problematic Sexual Behavior among Children and Youth course. Advise supervisor when programs of instruction and lesson plans need to be revised or adapted to address training short falls. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes: a subject matter expert writer/instructor developing training materials through analysis or instruction in the area of the Family Advocacy Program, and a researcher and Special Projects Facilitator for the Special Victims Capability Division and a trainer or a subject matter of expert for multidisciplinary Trainers with the Installation Directorate of Emergency Service , Family Advocacy Clinical Case Workers and Victim Advocates as it relates to response and investigations. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum Development Instructional Design Oral Communication Training and Education Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
