Job SummaryThe Routing Analyst is responsible for managing the implementation of all routing processes. Provide expertise in utilizing route optimization software. The Routing Analyst collaborates with Area and District staff to provide consistent comprehensive route management.II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.Works together with Operations Improvement Manager to implement the Routing ProcessIn Coordination with the Operations Improvement Manager, plans, directs, and manages routing activities within specified time, cost, resource and quality constraintsUses route optimization software in collaboration with site employees to optimize routes, identify and implement route efficiencies and communicate changes to Route Managers and driversSchedules work to meet priorities and goals; manages issues and conflicts, change requests, risks, and project acceptanceDevelops and interprets organizational goals, policies and procedures, and updates project plans as neededCoordinates the data collection efforts and implements standard operating procedures for data collection required for all routing processesCommunicates with employees, supervisors, vendors, and customers about all aspects of route optimization software implementationInfluence field personnel participation and ownership of the routing processCollaborates with route optimization software users, management, vendors, technicians, Field Service Engineers, Routing Managers, and Data Collection Managers to determine business needs and system requirementsDevelops implementation and post-implementation performance standards, evaluating route efficiencies and fleet maintenance impacts on-goingTrains and coaches site employees on use of route optimization software and in fundamental routing practices; transfers routing expertise to site employeesUses appropriate software applications to perform daily work, including Kronos, PeopleSoft, AIMS, and OPUSPerforms other duties as assignedIII. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experienceExperience: No prior work experience (in addition to education requirement)B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other RequirementsNone requiredC. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities RequiredPreferred: experience with route optimization softwareV. Work EnvironmentThis job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.The expected base pay range for this position across the US is $78,330 - $114,833. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Support Analysts will respond to inbound calls and emails and complete outreach as necessary.
