Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a highly motivated, creative and skilled Associate Assembly Technician (2nd Shift) production environment to support Boeing manufacturing facility located in Helena, MT.This position will work closely with manufacturing operations and assembly to produce hard metal airplane part details and assemblies for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.The ideal candidate will have a background in hand finishing parts, use of hand tools, mechanical ability and fabrication while working in a collaborative and teaming environment with the ability to improve daily work and quality improvement.Position Responsibilities :

Hand finish and edge break of aluminum, stainless & titanium production parts.

Performs part detail assemblies, bushing install, honing, final assembly of production parts.

Performs production part inspection with all manner of hand inspection tools during production.

Performs part production & assembly with components and systems using established drawings, specifications and requirements.

Utilize and follow standardized work and step details required for production parts and assemblies.

Use BPSM or RPS to support real time problem solving – stop work if / when required to find the true root cause.

Ensure all parts are inspected prior to closing an operation so we do not pass on any defects to our downstream customers.

Willing and able to work any assigned shift schedule ( 2nd shift: Mon-Thu 4:00pm-2:00am ).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Willingness to work variable shifts and overtime as needed to support production.

Able to lift up to 35 lbs; Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; Occasional carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, walking, standing, balancing; Frequent reaching overhead and at or above shoulder; Frequent sitting; Frequent climbing.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years’ experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
