As a Math Associate Digital Content Developer, you’ll be working directly towards developing highly engaging and relevant content for Pearson+ Channels, a new platform with the potential to help millions of students around the world.Location: US-RemoteRequired Experience and Skills:B.A./B.S. in Science, Math, or Engineering preferredExcelled at problem-solving classes, generally, and Statistics and Calculus I and II, specificallyHas experience helping others in problem-solving classes (Private Tutor, Teacher, Lab Assistant, Peer-Led Team Leader or similar)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in a team environmentPreferred Experience and Skills:Is passionate about Science and Math, learning, and helping others learnHas significant experience with tutoring and/or building lessons or academic contentIs a self-driven, organized, meticulous, analytical, efficient, and dependable team playerDuties and Responsibilities:Work as “co-pilot” to our Math Senior Content Developers to build excellent contentResearch Learning Objectives & problem types across textbooks to help build our curriculum and plan how we should group and sequence them into videos and topicsResearch and Brainstorm the best explanations to teach tough academic conceptsWrite problems to be used as examples and practice in our lessonsAssist and Manage others in building solutions and problem sets, answering questions, and publishing contentAssist in reviewing videos against our Academic Checklist and PrinciplesMust be available for team meetings to plan, edit, and revise content between the hours of 9am-5pm ESTCompensation and Benefits:Salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per yearMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance benefitsWork with a passionate & talented team, on the most helpful academic content in the worldWork from anywhere, in an environment of high: autonomy, trust, expectation, and supportDevelop and improve skills in building content, managing projects and people, and much moreCompensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including (but not limited to) skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
