CxA (Certified Commissioning Authority), or BCxP (Building Commissioning Professional Certification)Intermediate Knowledge in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and OutlookAbility to perform design reviewsCommissioning Various HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical systemsWork as an individual, under minimal supervision to perform required taskComplete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentationClient direct communication skillsPro-active work ethic and ability to effectively manage timeDid you know that some people hold back on applying to jobs if they dont meet 100% of the listed requirements? If you dont check every point above but still feel like you could successfully do the work, we encourage you to apply!As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you willConsult with clients to determine functional requirements of new or renovated systems and/or projects and prepare information regarding design, specifications, estimated costs, and construction timeTravel to the project site to perform thorough inspectionsPrepare reports with statistics and conclusions based on numbers/findings.Read and comprehend construction documents, equipment specs, and process drawings.Ensures equipment meets all legal requirements and codesRecord data which has been identified specifically during preceding tests to verify that outputs of the test produce specific results or to review the reaction of the subject under exceptional or unusual inputCompose work-related reports that support effective relationship management and a high standard of documentation and record keepingWrite and present results and conclusions in a clear and intelligible way so they are comprehensible to a non-expert audienceMake sure that the measurable factors which define the operation of a system correspond to the predetermined normsPerform basic calculations for applicable systemsUse different measurement instruments depending on the property to be measured Utilize various instruments to measure length, area, volume, speed, energy, force, and othersAssist with checking shop drawings during construction administrationOther duties as assignedThe majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. On occasion, individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys.Your payThe salary for this position is based on the location/s posted.
