Office Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team to provide administrative support and to assist with various clerical tasks. This position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer applications as well as a working knowledge of office equipment.

Duties:

- Answering calls, directing inquiries, and taking messages as necessary

- Perform data entry tasks efficiently to maintain up to date records ensuring accuracy and validity of information

- Assist with office management skills such as filing

- Prepare daily deposit and balance cash drawer

- Prepare and process rental agreements including the acceptance of payment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow within the office

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills with proven administrative experience

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively

- Computer literate with a focus on efficient and accurate data entry

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail

Wage:

$18.00/hour 16-24 hours/week includes Saturdays

  • The Certified Medical Assistant (MA) has achieved their MA certification, can function independently of their preceptor, and is responsible to provide general direct and indirect patient care duties, in the clinic setting, under the direct supervision of a provider. The certified medical assistant will not triage patients, will not provide care prior to provider evaluation, will not provide care they are not competent in doing, will not advise patient without direct provider instruction, and will not identify as a “nurse”. All staff is considered first to be an employee of St. Peter’s Medical Group first. Because of this, there is an expectation that they may float to other SPHMG areas when not needed in assigned area.
