General description of work:
The Thrift Store Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of and through direct supervisors, the Good Samaritan Thrift Store, including staff and volunteer co-supervision; customer care; financial oversight and cash handling procedures; attaining sales goals and revenues; setting standards for loss prevention; team building; assist in donation processing; visual merchandising, fiscal managers and direct Front End Manager. The Thrift Store Lead also serves as a member of the Administrative Team. Thrift Store Lead is responsible for ensuring positive community interactions with customers, partners, donors, clients, and partnering businesses.
Knowledge, Skills Required:
- Possesses seasoned supervision skills.
- Skilled in arranging appealing, effective store displays to promote sales.
- Able to distinguish between saleable and non-saleable donations to the store.
- Have retail experience.
- Able to use Point of Sale 9.0, word and excel as well as maintain data and store reports as required.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree
- Five years plus in retail, supervision, business and finance experience
Wage:
$16/hour
