Basic Information
Reports to Delivery Services Supervisor
40 hours/week
Wage: $16.44 per hour plus excellent benefits
This position is open until filled.
What You’d Do
Pull materials to fulfill customer requests.
Receive incoming materials and discharge returned materials using our Automatic Material Handler.
Shelve materials in accordance with shelving standards and maintain appearance of shelves.
Assist in managing Self-Service Holds area.
Assist in regular shifting projects.
May be required to work a customer service desk as backup
You Need
Physical stamina required, including the ability to move book trucks weighing up to 100 pounds, to lift 50 pounds, and to shelve on both high and low shelves.
Must be able to perform duties in busy, noisy environments and tight spaces.
Ability to speak and understand English is required. Additional consideration may be given to individuals that are fluent in any non-English languages spoken in the Kansas City area including Somali, Swahili, Spanish, Arabic, French, Dari, Pashto, and Vietnamese.
Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or G.E.D. The educational requirement may also be met by an equivalent combination of education, relevant work experience, and life experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm plus one Saturday a month. This schedule is subject to change.
