St. Bull Staffing is seeking to fill the position of: Sous Chef
Under the general direction of the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will oversee and participate in the planning, preparation and execution of food courses in a fine dining establishment.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food courses
Monitor activities of individuals in food preparation process to ensure safety and compliance
Coordination of the timing of food production activities
Train food preparation or food service personnel
Create new recipes or food presentation plans
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience as a chef in a restaurant and/or hotel environment
Experience preparing buffet lines
A minimum of an Associate’s degree in the culinary arts or a related field (or equivalent)
An accredited culinary certification
Skills
