Job Description:
Asterisk LLC is hiring a full-time carpenter to join our growing commercial construction team.
We are based in Raytown, MO, and work across the entire Kansas City metro. The ideal candidate is experienced in framing, finish work, and general construction, and is looking to join a small, dependable crew that values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in what we build.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform framing and rough carpentry
-Execute finish carpentry tasks
-Assist with steel framing or light steel fabrication
-Support welding tasks if experienced — not required
-Read and follow project plans or instructions from site leads
-Support epoxy flooring installs (training available)
-Maintain a clean and safe job site
-Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a carpenter
-Familiarity with power tools and standard construction practices
-Must have reliable transportation to job sites
-Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions
-Must show up on time, ready to work, and be able to take direction
-Comfortable working both independently and on a team
Bonus if you have:
-Experience with epoxy floor systems or concrete prep
-Your own tools and tool belt
