RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer/SRE.
Summary:
We are looking for a Technology Leader specializing in contact center cloud architecture and migration. Functional experience includes Cloud Technology and Operations, Solution Architecture, Build and Release Management, and Continuous Deployment. AWS services experience includes EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Cloud Formation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Terraform, and Lambda function development.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for consistent release management and good change management practices
Review and perform troubleshooting analysis of the core application logs
Participate in Agile planning meetings and daily SCRUM meetings to provide software solutions for our platform services for Content Services and CHP Platform services
Engage in and improve the lifecycle of software from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Support services before they go live through activities such as system design, consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
Maintain software once it is live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Ensure the technical feasibility of the designs.
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
Configure, deploy, scale, and administer open source and commercial software.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Strong Agile experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines using CloudFormation, and SRE best practices, as well as iterative Agile-flavored workflows
AWS knowledge. Containers experience, particularly around Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes
Node and TypeScript experience is useful
