Description We are offering a position for a Credit Clerk within the financial industry, located in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The role is a contract position and will involve handling customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also requires monitoring of customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments. Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date customer credit records Respond to and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Utilize accounting software systems for credit processing Use Microsoft Office Suites for maintaining records and reporting Administer billing functions effectively Handle claim administration tasks as required Provide excellent customer service during credit-related interactions. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with IBM AS/400 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in Billing Functions Experience in Claim Administration Familiarity with Collection Processes Strong Customer Service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in processing invoices Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting or a related field.
