RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Back-End Java Developer in Saint Louis, MO.
Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
Senior Back-End Java Developer will design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs
Interact with team members to determine best solutions
Interact with product owners and end-users to understand business needs
Collaborate with front-end developers and other members of the team to improve application usability/performance
Get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers
As a Senior Back-End Java Developer, you will write functional requirement and design documents and guides
Help other back end and front-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Follow high quality software development practices and standards
Attending daily stand-up meeting, attend sprint planning and review
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
Extensive back-end development experience
In depth knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
Experience with micro services architecture and cloud ready applications
Preferably a full stack developer that has primary experience on the back end, but that also understand the front-end
Extensive proven experience of Java, Spring Boot, SQL
Experience with Oracle and other relational DBMS
Experience with web-services, messaging (Kafka), micro-services
Back-end frameworks to build server-side software
Unit testing
In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development, and deployment)
Strong working knowledge of JSP
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server
Experience with web services, messaging, and stored procedures
Excellent communication skills and a degree of technical leadership skills
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with non-relational database such Mongo
Cloud computing integration
