The position positively impacts sales by educating advisors and providing case specific consulting.Key Job Responsibilities
Candidate will create and revise marketing material and client presentations portraying complex techniques used in non qualified deferred compensation sales.
Case consulting and training to advisors and clients in advanced, multi life non qualified deferred compensation plans including complex tax, design and legal details
Understanding of non qualified deferred compensation plans, IRC section 409(a) rules and regulations, various uses of trusts and advanced financing tools in designing solutions.
Understanding of multiple carrier Corporate owned life insurance plans and uniquities
Developing financial models using excel and carrier software
Complete documentation of materials and illustrations
Subject matter expert that will train advisors and business partners.
Ability to communicate and work collaboratively across business lines with co workers, carriers, advisors and potential clients
Product expert who learns new product release details and communicates to co workers, advisors, management
Product and new concept analysis for management in assessing new markets and sales approaches
Understand and master life insurance illustration systems, excel, word and power point as well as Microsoft teams or other web based presentation platforms.
The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Advanced case design skills and taxation of insurance knowledge with 5 or more years of related experience.
Subject matter expertise in Advanced Markets concepts, such as business and estate planning, executive benefit planning, etc a plus
Must be able to communicate at all levels of understanding very complex case designs including product, taxation and legal details.
Must have working knowledge of Nonqualified deferred compensation, estate planning, 412(i), 419, 401(k) and 409(a) plans.
Diligent thought process and high level of accuracy in financial data entry and evaluation
Strong written and oral communication skills
Organized and able to manage multiple projects / cases
Bachelors Degree
Confidentiality and high ethical standards critical
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CFP, ChFC, CLU, FSA, ASA , Series 6, 63 or tax Law Attorney a strong plus
