General Description The Cash Services Teller is responsible for filling coin and currency orders. Ensures money received and money supplied is verified and accurate. Is responsible for maintaining the security in the Cash Services area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing merchant deposits and change orders. Also required to verify incoming correspondent bank deposits. This duty is performed about 35% of the time.
Ensures incoming and outgoing shipments of money are signed for and that the security cameras are being monitored during armored car entrances. Processes and balances incoming loose coin deposits as well as rolled coin. This duty is performed about 30% of the time.
Responsible for running the cash-sorting machine. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
Maintains all security policies and procedures. Also responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas to ensure and clean and safe work environment. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.
Handles the daily balancing and reconciliation of the vault and assigned cash drawer. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED
0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training.
Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.
Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Required Certifications
Must be able to obtain forklift certification upon hire.
