Description We are looking for a Controller to join our client's team in Springfield, Missouri. The Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting functions. This role requires proficiency in various software systems and skills including financial statement preparation, supporting a team of accounting professionals, etc.The salary range will be $115,000 - $130,000 DOE with the opportunity to have a major impact on the organization as a whole!This company also offers a variety of benefits including employer-paid health benefits, 401k match, bonus opportunities, etc! If you are interested in taking the next step in your career, please contact Austen Zemrock directly at 501-255-2056 or through LinkedIn.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Utilize accounting software systems for processing and maintaining accurate records Conduct regular auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Develop and manage the company's budget processes Resolve customer inquiries related to accounting and financial matters Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure accurate customer credit records Leverage CRM systems to manage customer relationships and transactions Ensure all accounting operations align with the current laws and regulations.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Controller or similar financial management role Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, and ADP - Financial Services Experience with CRM and Crystal Reports Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven experience in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
