With hands-on projects, valuable mentorship, and exposure to executive leaders, this is where you’ll grow, learn, and drive impactful change. We are CPS T3 ASG (Tier 3 Application Support Group). We provide an escalation point for application support of various CPS applications. We are integral in the intake of new applications being released to the production environment and we provide support/ impact metrics to senior level management to aid in strategic business decisions surrounding incident management. We ensure reliable code delivery from development to production systems for all 30 services (both in house developed and third party solutions) that we support. We are a team of 12 and we are an exceptionally diverse group spanning members from a wide range of age and cultural backgrounds. We are a close-knit group, and we really embrace the JH motto “Do the right thing, do whatever it takes and have fun”. The intern will evaluate a production ETL environment, focusing on monitoring and alerting, and conduct a gap analysis with recommendations for improvement. This role offers hands-on experience in the enterprise financial industry, applying SQL and data analysis skills, and collaborating with operations and production support teams to enhance networking and innovative problem-solving skills. Program Details Duration: June 2 – August 8, 2025Location: Springfield, MO or Allen, TXPay: $25.00/hour What you’ll be responsible for:
Evaluate the production ETL environment to identify areas for improvement.
Identify monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure data pipeline health and reliability.
Conduct a gap analysis and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing the ETL processes.
Collaborate with operations and production support teams to gain insights and strengthen networking skills.
Apply SQL and data analysis skills in a real-world production environment to solve complex problems.
What you’ll need to have:
Enrolled at an accredited university.
Pursuing a DevOps Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or Computer Engineering.
Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
Academic or working experience with SQL Data base administration and Advanced PowerShell scripting.
A basic understanding of the fintech industry and enterprise administration.
A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
