As an Imagery Research Engineer, you will be the connection between the creators and the users of innovative applications that improve image analysis and processing. You will apply your imagery expertise and your familiarity with various programming languages, such as python, java, and C, to manage large datasets and develop codes that are adaptable to different systems and platforms. You will collaborate with the experts to design and develop these systems by examining and proposing the best hardware, software, and algorithm for image processing. You have demonstrated your experience using programming such as Python, C, Java, and CMake, and have experience in writing and running scripts.

You have gained experience and familiarity of how virtualization and containerization can benefit image processing through efficiency, scalability, and security (i.e., Docker).

While becoming familiar with the design and development of software applications, you’ve gained experience using Operating Systems like Linux, and testing and evaluating the tools.

You have developed a career in Imagery and/or video processing and analysis – at least 4 years of experience + Bachelors degree (Associates + 13 years of relevant imagery experience).

Must currently have an active TS/SCI clearance.
