Will perform Medical Assistant duties which include, accurately takes and records vital signs, injections and any pertinent medical information in accordance with accepted guidelines, as well as any other Medical Assistant duties that ensure high quality patient care. Documents follow-up in Performance Improvement Module for needed preventative and chronic care services. Reconciles all labs, referrals and orders in accordance with Network policy. Scans, indexes and flowsheets all incoming documents to the patients EMR per practice process. Obtain recommended tests as determined by established protocols and EMR Pro-Active Care Forms. Maintains inventory of medical and office supplies, reordering and replenishing as needed. Reviews relevant patient charts and conducts pre-visit preparation, contacts provider and/or patient as appropriate.Assists patients in developing self-management plans and goals. Assists Practice Manager with Physician Dashboard. Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Medical Assistant Diploma
CPR Certification OR received within the first three months of hire
Good Communication/ Customer Service Skills
Flexibility to work schedule to extended hours as necessary
Ability to assist patients with physical limitations, walking, sitting on exam table etc…
Certification not required but premium rates applied with certification
Occasional needed between any CKHN office in Delaware County
