Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for the daily care of our dairy animals and assisting with various farm tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with feeding and watering dairy cows and other livestock
- Milking cows and ensuring proper milking procedures are followed
- Cleaning and maintaining animal housing and milking equipment
- Monitoring animal health and reporting any issues to the farm manager
- Assisting with pasture management and crop production
- Performing general farm maintenance and repairs
- Helping with the packaging and distribution of dairy products
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on a dairy farm or with livestock is preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to animal welfare
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of farm machinery and equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, with early morning and evening shifts
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Compensation:
- $16.00 per hour
